This 12 year old FS Labrador Retriever has presented with a raised cutaneous nodule diagnosed as mast cell tumor; staging radiographs
Rads of the thorax-
There is no mediastinal widening and no evidence of mediastinal lymphadenomegaly. The pulmonary parenchyma is negative for interstitial nodules. A mild, likely age-related bronchointerstitial pattern is noted. The cardiac silhouette is within normal limits for size and shape. The major vessels and pulmonary vasculature are within normal limits.
The cervical trachea presents redundancy of the dorsal tracheal ligament which usually is an incidental finding. The thoracic trachea is within normal limits
No macromorphologic evidence of metastatic spread to the lungs or mediastinum
