Image Interpretation

right lateral and VD rad – The serosal detail is maintained. The stomach contains a moderate amount of chyme.
The small intestinal loops are crowding in the mid and caudal abdomen. The small
intestinal loops are of even diameter, no dilation is noted. A moderate amount of gas
and fluid ingesta are noted within the small intestine. The large intestine contains a
moderate amount of fecal material and gas. The position of the colon is within normal
limits.

DX

The radiographs are within normal limits except for a large amount of gastrointestinal content and a mild maldigestion pattern.

Outcome

Abdominal ultasound may be considered depending on the development of specific
abdominal or laboratory signs or persisting painful palpation of the abdomen.
Consider active phase of female cycle as reason for the prominence of the vulva.
