Rads of the pelvis and stifles –
right rear limb: moderate generalized decrease of muscle volume; sever deformation with partial collapse of the femoral head and neck with flattening of the head and multifocal radiolucent areas throughout the head and neck; severe new bone production around the acetabular margins and femoral neck; shallow conformation of the acetabulum, severe flattening of the craniodorsal acetabulum edge and subchondral bone sclerosis.
Right-sided Legg Calve Perthes/aseptic necrosis of the femoral head with incomplete collapse of the femoral head and secondary osteoarthritis
– Moderate secondary disuse atrophy of the right rear limb musculature.
Resection of the femoral head and neck with consecutive physical therapy is the treatment of choice. Conservative management is not successful.
