This 6 year old intact M Tibetan Terrier has a history of lethargy and vomiting. Stranguria has also been noted.

DX

Prostatic lymphoma

Image Interpretation

The urinary bladder wall appeared slightly thickened. The urinary bladder was suspended with urine. Prostatomegaly existed in this patient. The prostate gland appeared sensitive. The portion of the prostate gland through which the urethra passes appeared hypoechoic and again the patient was reactive on examination.

 

 

Outcome

Due to the patient’s history and difficulty with urination neutering should be considered in this patient.
