Left cranial parathyroid was enlarged 0.38 cm most consistent with parathyroid adenoma. The remainder of the thyroid measured 0.4 cm in width x 1.5 cm in length. The lesion was confirmed both in short axis as well as long axis. Right thyroid lobe was scanned in short axis; no evident pathology, uniform parenchyma 0.5 cm in width. |
Recommend surgical resection in this patient.
