This 10 year old MN Chihuahua presented with dropped lower left jaw, anisocoria, CP deficit left hind, limited cervical motion, intermittent paraparesis.

DX

The computed tomography does not reveal an underlying cause of the clinical signs

Image Interpretation

CT of the head and thorax-

Mid generalized periodontitis with moderate atrophy of the jawbones is noted in all quadrants. An oronasal fistular with mild focal rhinitis and a small apical root granuloma is seen at 104. The mesial root of 306 presents marked periodontitis with furcation and tooth root resorption.  Both temporomandibular joints present congruent joint spaces with even subchondral bone surfaces and are considered within normal limits.  The ventricular system presents mild symmetric dilation of the lateral and third ventricles.

Outcome

A number of incidental findings is recorded.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the brain and CSF sampling should be considered for
further definition of the clinical presentation.
