Image Interpretation

CT of the head – The computed tomography of the head reveals normal findings. Minor swelling of the mucosal lining of the nasal turbinates and floor of the nasal cavity is noted emphasizing the left side but essentially within the limits of the regular mucosal cycle. Moderate rightward deviation of the cartilaginous nasal septum is noted within the mid and rostral third of the nasal cavity and within normal limits.

Outcome

The computed tomography of the head reveals minor signs of unsepcific non-destructive rhinitis of the left nasal cavity. There is no evidence a mass lesion or a foreign body. Mild viral, bacterial or parasitic infection cannot be ruled out.
