A 6-year-old NM Labrador/Rottweiler mix was presented for evaluation of intermittent chronic vomiting, weight loss, and decreased appetite. He had been previously been diagnosed with vitamin B12 deficiency and had responded to supplementation and a hypoallergenic diet trial. Urinalysis showed mild proteinuria and hematuria.
