And no it is not a black and white block of swiss cheese.  🙂

Hints: Puppy + for Parvo, not eating, NOT vomiting, some mucoid diarrhea but NOT bloody, PALE mucous membranes, very lethargic, painful abdomen.

Well I thought these were images of an intussusception, but it turns out I didn’t catch the image of the actual thing. See comment below from calinca describing this as ileus. Thanks catlady!

Hi

Sonogirl, sorry to give
Hi

Sonogirl, sorry to give my late feedback, but I I think these are just images of ileus. it’s mainly sections of inflamed hypomotil bowel loops distend with fluid. probably cranial to the intussusception, it that was the cause. Parvo tends to so that, I’ve seen it often.

Seniors correct me if I’m wrong….

No I’d say you are right on
No I’d say you are right on the money calinca, thank you for looking at my images! 🙂
I wasn’t exactly sure if I had the intussusception in my U/S still or not as we discovered it on post-mortem examination and my scan was done before that. Thank you, still learning my ultrasound geography.
