Bladder Trigone area

Hello

I have a 7 year old Westie that has markedly increased renal values and US showed hyperechoic cortex to the kidney, a hypoechoic spleen that required high frequency transducer to accurately identify and the trigone of the bladder had a band of tissue that seemed to separate a pocket of fluid.

The ureters upstream are not dilated and I believe I can see the urethra coursing dorsal to this area.

I was wondering if this could be a vestigial outpocketing like I had on a Gallbladder at one time? Unsure what to make of this. Emma was not urinating so we passed a canine urinary catheter with relative ease.

Also wondering about the significance of the hypoechoic spleen if any. Dog is anemic but I thought if contracted it would be further hyperechoic?

Looking forward to comments. Thanks. Brent
