yet another bladder

yet another bladder

This is an older lab on chronic carprofen for osteoarthritis.  His recent blood tests showed mild anemia and hypoalbuminemia.  Just yesterday he developed severe intermittent hematuria.  Is the doppler convincing that this is a mass as opposed to clots? Thanks for looking.  jas

Linear probe

Hi, I have a logiq e and just got a 12L-RS probe.  I have been using the curvilinear only up to now, and using the URO5 setting on the presets. Can I use this preset with the linear probe or is there a better one?  Do I need to adjust the time-gain controls or can…

gastric lymphoma

Hi I would like some help in interpreting these images.  The patient is a 5 year old cat with large cell lymphoma of the gastric wall.  She was diagnosed by the vet school.   I think I see effusion in the near field on the first clip, is this correct?  Also, the masses were noted as…

Is this just sludge?

I was curious about this gall bladder.  Is this just sludge?  Patient is very icteric and has extremely elevated liver enzymes.  Not sure what to make of the stringy material I am seeing.  Thanks, jas

Suspected bladder mass

Hi, Would just like to verify that this lesion looks suspicious for bladder mass rather than urolith.  Patient is elderly with large number of epithelial cells and wbcs on UA.  To me it looks like it is not shadowing and is contiguous with bladder wall, but on doppler no significant blood flow.  Thanks, jas

adrenals?

I am pretty sure I got the left adrenal on this, but not sure about the right.  Is it possible to see Right adrenal and still have kidney in the field as well?

iliac lymph node?

Patient is an 11 year old border collie with a large (5 cm) firm irregular perianal mass.  Cytology and bloodwork pending. I was taking a peek at the iliac area.  Is this a big lymph node?  I think we’ll be having her come back in for rads this week.  jas

Renal failure young cat

Hi I had a patient come in last night, a 3 year old cat who appeared to have chronic renal failure or possibly acute on chronic. USG 1.012, proteinuria, inactive sediment azotemia/hyperphosphatemia (creatinine 5.2 mg/dl), hypokalemia non-regenerative anemia (20% pcv in very dehydrated patient).  globulins 6.1 g/dl  Felv/FIV neg Owner reported he had been eating…

cine loops

How do you all convert your DICOM loops to video clips for posting?  Do you use a DICOM converter software?  I’d rather keep them in DICOM but can’t post them.  I have a logiq e.  Thanks for any advice,  jas

Curious Rads

These are rads from a 14 year old Mini Aussie who presented for acute (per owner) onset of cough and respiratory difficulty.  She was tachypneic, cyanotic, and had harsh lung sounds and a III/VI murmur.  She was not febrile.  She did cough up some foamy blood tinged froth.   These were read by our radiology service…
