This is my first time scanning a hepatic cyst and it was a lot to take in visually. 🙂 It did not uptake power doppler.
Dx was: A right medial, complex liver cyst. This is likely a benign cyst with fluid accumulation. 80-90% of the mass was occupied with fluid. Possible biliary carcinoma. It appeared resectable. Deviated gastrointestinal tract.
Had to post due to coolness factor. 🙂

As the cyst is getting bigger
As the cyst is getting bigger would be an idea to explore surgically – resect if possible or marsupilize if not. Alternatively can drain under US guidance but generally will reform in short period of time.

Create a large opening/window in the cyst so that the fluids drains into the abdominal cavity were it is absorbed by the omentum.
