I recently had a hard drive crash on my logiq e and lost all the presets, stored images and other information.
I was wondering how I back up the entire system to a USB stick.
I was shown one time but am missing the fine details. Thanks. Brent

TRANSFERRING PRESETS TO A THUMB DRIVE
(Don’t use DVD+.. or CD+..) USE DVD-R or CD-R
You will probably need to format your drive
1) go to connectivity
2) removable media
3) click on scroll down arrow
4) select USB DRIVE
5) click on format this will take a few seconds, once this is done
6) go to systems backup restore on left
7) click on USER DEFINED CONFIG
8) under media click on scroll down arrow and choose USB DRIVE
9) click on backup, box will saying ‘WARNING BACKUP’
10) Click O.K., this will also take a few seconds
TO INSTALL PRESET ON LOGIQ E
1) GO TO UTILITY
2) TO SYSTEMS
3) TO BACKUP/RESTORE
4) INSERT FLASH DRIVE
5) GO TO MEDIA : CLICK ON USB1 ( IF USB DRIVE DOES NOT SHOW UP CLICK ON ICON AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN, CLICK ON THE BOX TO DISPLAY COMPONET. THE USB1 SHOULD SHOW UP IN THE MEDIA BOX .)
6) MOVE OVER TO SECTION “DETAILED RESTORE OF USER DEFINED” CHECK ALL BOXES EXCEPT !!!!!!! CONECTIVITY CONFIGURATION DO NOT CHECK THIS BOX!!!!!!!!
7) CHECK RESTORE: WARNING WILL COME UP SAYING THAT RESTORE WILL CAUSE THE SYSTEM TO REBOOT CLICK OK
8) ANOTHER WARNING-RESTORE WILL COME 3 OR 4 TIMESSAYING RESTORE IMAGING PRESETS FROM I:GEMS_BACKUPLOGIQE CLICK OK EACH TIME.
9) SYSTEM SHOULD THEN REBOOT ITSELF

Backup and restore strategy: user-defined configurations
In addition to generating a safety copy, the backup/restore
function of the user-defined configuration (presets) can be used
to configure several LOGIQ e systems with identical presets
(preset synchronization).
Preset synchronization
The procedure for preset synchronization of several scanners is
as follow:
1. Make a backup of the user-defined configurations on a
removable media from a fully configured LOGIQ e system.
2. Restore user-defined configurations from the removable
media to another LOGIQ e system (you can restore all the
user-defined presets or select specific presets to restore via
Detailed Restore).

1. Insert media into the media drive.
2. On the Control Panel, press Utility.
3. Select System.
4. On the monitor display, select Backup/Restore.
The Backup/Restore screen is displayed.
NOTE: If you are not logged in with administrator privileges, the
Operator Login window is displayed. Log on with
administrator privileges.
5. In the Backup list, select User Defined Configuration.
6. In the Media field, select media type.
7. Select Backup.
The system performs the backup. As it proceeds, status
information is displayed on the Backup/Restore screen.
8. After the backup is complete, press F3 to eject the media.
CAUTION To avoid the risk of overwriting the local patient and report
archives on the system to update, DO NOT check Patient
Archive when making a backup of configuration settings.
