A 10-year-old intact male Labrador was presented for evaluation of abdominal discomfort, weight loss, and poor appetite. On physical examination, an abdominal mass and abdominal discomfort were present. Survey radiographs revealed an abdominal mass.

Sonographic Differential Diagnosis
Splenic mass. Other splenic target nodules and right medial liver nodule.
Concurrent right testicular nodule.
Image Interpretation
The spleen in this patient presented multiple target lesions with loss of detail. Expansive irregular contour was noted. The spleen also presented a separate 14.0 cm inflamed, hypoechoic mass that was essentially parenchymal and moderately vascular.
The liver presented a right medial hypoechoic nodule. This may represent a metastatic lesion as it has a target type appearance. Inspection at the time of surgery is recommended. A nodule was noted in the right testicle and measured 1.05 cm. This is most consistent with seminoma or possible Sertoli cell tumor. The left testicle was unremarkable. The prostate was uniformly enlarged and measured 4.84 cm. No particular pathology was noted other than minor, uniform enlargement.
