Wondering if these US findings are enough to call this dog intact or active ovarian remnant. She is a 2 year old pitbull that according to history had OVH done as a rescued dog.
Her vulva is enlarged, cytology: proestrus
US findings: enlarged cervix, left and right ovary.
We are debating if we should still do a hormonal test or go directly to sx. ( Owner doesn’t want to do more tests..)

The u stump looks like a heat
The u stump looks like a heat stump and both regions of the ovaries have structures that loiok like o remnants and shouldnt be there. I would cut…. strange they pinched off both ovaries. here is another ovarian remnant typical but they can be all shapes and sizes:)
