- 18 month old Golden Retiever was treated with steroids and azathioprine for MMM.
- Bloods: significantly elevated ALT, ALP and GGT
- Seemed to develop hepatotoxicity and pancreatitis secondary to azathioprine (after a couple of weeeks)
- Also history of GI disease and Giardia, treated and managed with hypoallergenic diet.
- I saw him for first time for a scan and there are severe liver changes, how would you describe these changes and do you think there is acute on chronic disease?

Multifocal parenchymal
Multifocal parenchymal mineralization… I’ve seen this happen with pred usage or cushings (hes too young for cushings) especially if spleen and renal cortices are doing the same thing. If just the liver then seocndary mineralization owing to cholangiohepatitis so fna or bx and culture.
