Liver and splenic lesions

Sonopath Forum

Liver and splenic lesions

  • 14 year old MN Dachshund with inappetance, vomiting and off form, no weight loss
  • Scan showed pancreatitis and gastric ileus
  • But there was also a subtle liver nodule/mass and the tail of the spleen was irregularly hypoechoic
  • What do you think is causing the liver and splenic pathology and is it of concern?
  • Will hopefully sample both once bloods back and clinically improved from pancreatitis

Spleen looks infarcted +/-

Spleen looks infarcted +/- round cell neoplasia pattern. I would run power doppler over it, fna spleen as well as general and nodular liver. May have dual organ round cell neoplasia here.
