- The prostate is normal in size with a uniform capsule. Shadowing, linear, echogenic lines can be seen parallel to the prostatic urethra. I originally thought that this was parenchymal mineralization with a normal prostatic urethra but upon further review, I am wondering if the prostatic urethra is indeed, dilated and that perhaps there is a problem further down the pipe.
- What next….fna the prostate? cystourethrogram?

Its odd I agree and anything echogenic thats not in the urethra in a MN should be sampled to ensure not carcinoma…maybe weird fat design if we are lucky
