Young cat weight loss

-1 year old FS DSH

-Per owner, has lost 50% of her body weight recently (was 15, now ~5).  She is thin but not emaciated, not sure how much to believe the 15 pound figure.  Not eating.  Has vomited ~3 times.

-Elevated amylase, normal globulins.  BG ~225.  PCV 23%.

-Palpable mass like linear object in cranial abdomen.  I think it is the pancreas and surrounding inflammation as there are no foreign bodies or masses present.  Stomach and bowel appear normal to me aside from a prominent muscularis layer in pylorus.

-I see signficant peri-pancreatic inflammation, prominent nodes near ICC junction, and small volume pleural effusion.  LA:Ao is normal and contractility is subjectively normal.

-I want to make sure I am putting all this information together correctly.  I am thinking something infectious such as FIP or toxo or something like pancreatitis/EPI/small intestinal disease.  I guess I should keep lymphoma on the list too.  Any other thoughts?

Thanks!

Suzanne
