6 yr old FS Pitbull presented for acute onset vomiting and diarrhea 3 days prior to initial ultrasound. The patient did not respond to tx with metronidazole 250 mg BID, EN and fortiflora Owner report dog ingested part of a rubber toy one month ago. Jackson: 9 Year Old, M/N GoldenDoodle presented for weakness and ADR, Lung sounds muffles U/S: large PCE (Drained 550ml’s bloody fluid); I do not see an obvious cardiac mass….There is a hypoechoic splenic mass that loses architecture. No abdominal fluid was evident.
