Ketoacidosis in Diabetic
Champion (9 year old Puggle) came in with diabetes and ketoacisosis. Had a raging UTI and mild liver enz elevations in addition to the high BG (kidney enzymes normal) and SG of 1.041 Treated w/ IV’s, insulin, Baytril and 24 hours later dog doing well and eating.
