Rads of the abdomen and caudal thorax – There is no evidence of GI tract foreign material. The
stomach is distended to upper normal volume limits by a gas and by normalcomposition
ingesta, which appears to be kibble. Small intestines are distributed
normally with typical bowel pattern. Feces in the caudal descending portion of the
colon are adequately formed. The liver and spleen are normal. The kidneys and
urinary bladder are normal. Prostate anatomy is not included. Peritoneal cavity detail
is very good. The lumbar spine and the lumbosacral junction are normal. There are
degenerative changes in each coxofemoral joint, although dysplasia is not apparent.
The included portions of the caudal thorax and surrounding thoracic wall are
unremarkable.
There is no evidence of residual diarrhea in this examination. No indication of dietary
indiscretion is identified.
